Pierre et Vacances Owners Department

I am starting this thread out of sheer frustration at the

manner in which Pierre et Vacances Owners Department are

treating me. I have spent weeks, if not months trying to

make bookings or exchanges over the past 2 years.

Seeing as how they have ignored my complaints I am going

to document everything publicly here from now on.

I'd like to start by explaining the latest episode. I

have requested an exchange for Chamonix, La Ginabel, in

June. The residence is open and appears in the 'exchange

guide'. Needless to say the online booking system didnt

work so for the past few weeks I have been trying to e

mail them. I got a reply today (I think it took about 3

or 4 weeks). Apparently the residence in not open to

exchange customers in June and this is explained at the

bottom of page 6 in the exchange guide.

Except of course that it mentions no such thing in the

exchange guide. Why put something in the exchange guide

if it isn't available for exchanges?

I was selling an apartment Through Pierre et Vacances. In fairness they did sell the aprtment and the property value went up over the 5 years I owned the property. Well done them.


The customer support was poor. Unable to answer questions about why I did not recive rent. I said I was considering legal action and was told by the local office that might be a good idea as she could not get any answers. They said others were having problems getting rent also. Eventually the local office gave me an generic email address for Pierre et vacance main office and said I should call it.

Try calling corrine durand 0033 158 21 58 21, i think she runs the call center for p&V.

I also got the chairmans email addy from the website and i copy him on emails

Hi All,


I've had a P&V leaseback in Val D'Isere for four years and it has been (generally) ok. Just do what they say, dont ask any aqward questions, and life will be ok for you. But I have a funny feeling that, eventually and without tempting fate I will have something to post here.

Anybody else get the letter dated 8 September announcing

the new booking/exchange system. Logged in today, its not

available but will be 'soon'.
