Does anyone know of an English speaking French Lawyer preferably Ireland based..even better if Dublin. With 6 years left on my second lease I want to get expert advice on the legal;ities around exiting or not renewing when the current lease comes up for renewal.
Thanks,

Hi Martina,
I don't know of any Irish lawyers but I have spoken to an English lawyer based in France, Simon Attey, who has been given me some helpful advice. His email is simon.attey@notaires.fr I'm also hoping to get out of lease and desperate to sell my studio apartment. Preferably I would also be glad of a lawyer versed in French law based in Dublin so if you hear of anyone please keep us posted.
Thanks,
Elaine
I know an owner who successfully evicted their tenant using Gregory Hanson - he speaks English but is based in the south of France.

I think it's unlikely you will find anyone in Dublin with sufficient expertise in this area of French law.
But do let us know if you do !
I confirm that both Messrs. Hanson and Mr Simon Attal are fluent English-speakers and experienced French lawyers, Mr Hanson is an 'Avocat' i.e. a Barrister, whereas Mr Attal is a notary/conveyancer.
