Looking for other MMV Le Petit Lac Owners

Any other owners out there of units in the MMV resort Le Petit Lac in Cannes Mandelieu? I'm interested in sharing current experiences.

Would you please share the experiences you have had with MMV.
They are a candidate to take over our residence and it would be particularly
useful to know whether they pay the rent on-time.

Experience was fine from 2008 up to now. Q2 rent was a few weeks late in July and Q3 rent, due 1st October, hasn;t been made. Was told Wednesday I would be paid between yesterday and next Monday but still waiting. Got letter last month explaining that rent would be delayed due to them having a bad year....weather, economy, etc.

I sadly must say have had same bad experience. Didn't get paid till now

for Q3 and for Q2 got paid in late September instead of early July and

only after long shouting. I am pretty confident they are having cash flow

problems and would only wish these are temporary.

I see some owners of apartments in Cannes have been getting replies from

MMV. My emails are being totally ignored - I am wondering how members

are making contact. Also looking on the forum I see members have been

logging problems since 2008 I wonder if these people have found ways to

resolve their issues or are they still not receiving payments?.

I see some owners of apartments in the MMV resort Cannes have been at

It is getting worse. I haven't been paid for Q3 and my inquiries being

ignored. I am in a process of starting litigation against them. I see no

other way to learn what is going on and why they stopped payments

and avoid contacts.

I am in the same position here...Q2 and Q3 2012 not paid. I had no problems up to then.


Doesn't seems to be many threads here for a problem that i assume would affect all owners? (300 units in this development)


How can we progress this?

We are owners at MMV Cannes resort, today we have received a email from MMV outlining the difficult ecomomic situation which is impacting the profitability of the resort. It then goes on to offer 3 options to remedy this situation. These are basically options to pay the owners less rent. The basic option is to agree to 30% less rent. This comes on the back of late rental payments over last year.


My question is, have MMV used this ploy on other MMV residences to reduce their rent liability and how has this worked out??

' MMV run our resisence at Clos de Tourrettes.They have been contracted to run the residence by our management company Camiole Resorts.They do not pay us directly but pay Camiole, who then pay us.If they don't pay Camiole on time, then Camiole don't pay us.To start with, we were payed on time, but on the last occasion the payment was a month late and this quarter we are over a month late.


This is getting very frustrating, as the present arrangement is after we had to accept a 30% rent reduction.With all we have had to put up with and with agreeing to a rent reduction, they still can't pay on time.It is truly shameful behaviour.'

I presume everyone has got the letter mentioned above. Does anyone know if owners are getting in contact with each other to discuss what it means, options, etc? I heard about the Petit lac Owners Association before and have emailed them tonight to see if the email address is active and if so, whether any owner discussion is planned. What do others think or anyone know of any group getting together? I presume it would be better to share thoughts and speak as a group?

There is a group which represents a substantial number of owners, including me. Its general email address is petitlac@hotmail.co.uk, if you have any difficulty getting in touch, please post a contact email and I will send you details of committee and telephone number. Representatives of this commitee are planning to meet MMV in early Feb.

Hello All, I too am a Petit Lac owner. It had taken me 6 months to get a response from MMV! It was a google search and finding this forum that has brought some success . I have now been in touch via email with m.decroix @ mmv.fr . MMV was 3Q's behind in payments and since making contact they have made the Q2 payment. They have said they will pay Q3 and Q4 after I decide whether to accept a 3 year reduction in rent OR manage it myself and pay them.


Just sharing my experience.
