We got notification today that L'Odays are terminating our contract in March 2025. I'm presuming this is good news for us but could someone confirm? It is co-inciding with our last mortgage repayment which is a relief!
I don't know about Odays but our lease was terminated by Pierre Vacances in 2017 and this has been good for us in that we can manage and use our own appartment. On the downside, we are now liable for all charges and external renovation costs so this has meant more expense than we had under the lease. We let out via a Management agency on a one year rolling contract.
We didn't have any indemnity fees.
Other appartments out of lease seem to sell more easily too.
