We have gone from being managed by Village Center to MMV to Vacanceole and finally Serifos!!!!
The rent has gone down along the way as well as the property. To our horror we found out last year
that our studio is used as a store room and for spare parts. It is a mess. The manager does not see this as
a problem. We have written to Opaleo, Vacanceole and the Fonserane Association - no replies.
Last rental payment for three months was 158 euros. All benefits of Village Center have gone!
Can we walk in and take over our studio?
If you have signed a new lease and the company is paying you rent according to the lease then you must honour the agreement. You would have had the opportunity as the mgt changed hands to refuse to sign the new lease.

Also do any of you know of a cheap French Accountant who can communicate in English, I am trying to cut costs as much as I can - I have lost so much money on this apartment.
If you mean you need an accountant to do your tax return, we should be adding an online return in about 1 month. It will be in English and it wil lbe very easy to use. It will send all the relevant tax forms by EDI to the tax office (which is the new requirement). You will key into the program the info you currently provide to your accountant. It will cost 90 EUR (as opposed to the 300-400 most accountants charge. If you have more than 1 the additional returns will cost 50 EUR.
