New Fees for Owners- DPE + ERNT

Got a letter today from my management company claiming I must pay new fees to cover DPE (Diagnostic de Performance Energetique) and ERNT (Etat des Risques Naturels et Technologies).

Bottom line is that 150 euros will be deducted from my rent this year + 55 euros every time the tenant changes.

My appartment is let to students and business types so I can expect several new tenants each year.

Has anybody heard of these new climate taxes?

Shouldn't they be levied at building level rather than at individual apartments?

Are the management company trying it on?

refuse to pay if you have bought in a Residence Quasi hoteliere! It is illegal in Residence de Tourisme to ask the owners to pay for it but legal if you are the owner of a "normal flat"! Otherwise the management company has to cover those costs.

In total, for a normal flat, there are 8 certificates to be provided in France at each tenants changes. Most of them are at an individual level...
